So recently I have come to the startling realization that I need a decent camera. One whose flash actually brightens the photo, and one that takes quality photos in broad daylight. Yes, one of those.

Currently, I'm taking pictures with two pieces of equipment; a cellphone and a camcorder/camera combo. Oddly enough, the cellphone takes better pictures. And even more surprising is the fact that the camcorder takes both awful videos and sub-par photos. So that piece of equipment is utterly useless if I want whatever I'm doing with it to look nice.

What I really need is something that has got a decent megapixel count, panoramic photo options, and a great flash. My budget, though, is quite slim (pretty much null, I'm a student).

Therein lies the rub.
